The Atlanta Streetcar is an electrified streetcar line in Atlanta, Georgia. The line runs 2.7 miles east-west, serving 12 stops, from Centennial Olympic Park to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, with tracks that converge at Woodruff Park. The route provides access to MARTA heavy rail lines at Peachtree Center. The vehicle maintenance facility is located under the I-75/I-85 overpass on Edgewood Ave.
The scope of work includes periodic inspection and maintenance of the streetcar's Overhead Contact System (OCS) and traction power substations (TPSS) for multiple years. The scope also includes adjustments to the OCS to account for seasonal fluctuations in ambient temperature.
C3M has performed this work under three consecutive maintenance contracts with MARTA dating back to 2015.
