C3M, in joint venture with Clark Construction and Cupertino Electric, is constructing a new traction power facility at the Walnut Creek Station in Walnut Creek, California. The scope of work includes:
Demolition of all existing pavement, concrete curbs, gutters, concrete walls, and fencing,
installation of new drains, duct banks, and manholes,
new sewer and water connections for the substation,
construction of new concrete pads for all traction power substation equipment,
furnishing, installation, and testing of major traction power equipment, and,
connection of the new substation to BART’s rail transit system and,
demolition of the existing traction power substation.
