C3M will rehabilitate 19 existing traction power substations on Utah Transit Authority’s light rail system by replacing existing electrical equipment with modern versions. The scope of work also includes installing new supervisory control and data acquisition systems, converting pole-mounted disconnect switches to pad-mounted, and replacing feeder cables. Construction will be completed while the substations continue to power multiple light rail lines without operational impact.
This is C3M’s first job in Utah.
