To accommodate additional power capacity, C3M and Clark Civil are upgrading nine tie breaker stations and twelve traction power substations across 20 locations in Maryland and one in Virginia. The project’s overall scope includes supporting traction power and electrical equipment, mechanical systems, and security systems. Completion is slated for January 2026.
